1. How long have you been in the business at the Melbourne Market?

I've worked in the market for 47 years, but G.A. Tresco Wholesale has been in business for the last 20 years.

2. Where are you located?

You can find us in Stores 77 and 79 on the Buyers' Walk.

3. Do you remember your first day?

I sure do. I was 13 and on school holidays. My dad took me to the old Footscray Market and we got there around 3:30am. It was cold, it was early, and I was excited! He showed me everything there is to know about the markets, and that's where it all started.

4. What produce do you specialise in?

We sell a range of in-season vegetables and fruit, but our current specialties are stonefruit, capsicum, chillies, nectarines, and peaches.

5. What's your favourite produce to sell?

Apricots and mandarin. Can't beat the flavour when they're in season.
